The Past
I intermittently keep journals during my life but it’s always a pleasure when I stumble across an old one. It’s like watching your favourite retro television shows from when you were a kid except it’s your life and it’s 20x more embarrassing and 20x less interesting.

Me: no, I've been awake for like an hour now.
Grace: oh okay, so are you ready for lunch?
Me: oh yeah, I'll be right there.
Grace: really...because I've got some errands to run before I leave and--
Me: oh thank god! I'm still in bed, you just woke me up and I do not want to get lunch in the slightest.
Grace: alright, see you later.
This is what happens literally every morning. Every night we make plans and every morning we break them, it's our thing.
