Oh my goodness, how sweet! I am no cook and not one for recipes but this is a cookbook I would like to own.
I definitely feel you on the, “the book has remained one of my chief comfort reads, a bastion of make-believe order in a scary world” and I would seek that out as well.
One of my favorite lines in this article about the book A Thousand Ways to Please a Husband was when she quoted Bettina who said, “Romance is in everything we do lovingly and intelligently”. I can really take that to heart.
I love that Sadie Stein chose to tackle this of all books and she made it sound so relevant and accessible. I really want to own this!
